Program: The “Walk Fit” program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activity of walking and to encourage healthier lifestyles. We offer participants guidance/advice from experienced coaches, weekly group training walks, and educational information on topics such as proper hydration, nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment. This program is a perfect spring- board to a healthier you!
When: Ten week program begins on Monday, July 14th, 2014. Meets weekly on Monday and Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm at Fleet Feet Sports in Birkdale Village
Info Session: Thursday, July 10th, 2014, 7:00 pm, Fleet Feet Sports
Goal Walk: Program culminates in walking the Davidson Run for Green on Saturday, September 20th, 2014
