Fleet Feet Sports Training


“Walk Fit” 5K Walking

Program: The “Walk Fit” program is to introduce participants to the lifetime fitness activity of walking and to encourage healthier lifestyles. We offer participants guidance/advice from experienced coaches, weekly group training walks, and educational information on topics such as proper hydration, nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment. This program is a perfect spring- board to a healthier you!

When: Ten week program begins on Monday, July 14th, 2014.  Meets weekly on Monday and Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm at Fleet Feet Sports in Birkdale Village

Goal Walk: Program culminates in walking the Davidson Run for Green on Saturday, September 20th, 2014

No Boundaries 5K Run/Walk and Run Program Sponsored by New Balance

No Boundaries is a 10-week run/walk and run training program structured to help you cross the finish line of your first 5K. We keep you motivated with guidance and advice, weekly group training runs/walks, & educational clinics on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury.

When:Ten week program begins week of Monday, July 14, 2014.  Meets weekly on Monday and Wednesday nights at 6:30 pm; all sessions at Fleet Feet Sports

Next Steps 10K Run/Walk and Run Program 

This program is perfect for those looking to complete their first 10K program, looking to better their finish time from a previously completed 10K, or just need some motivation and in- spiration to get out there and move! We offer you guidance from experienced coaches, weekly group training runs/run walks, and educational information on topics such as proper nu- trition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment.

When: Twelve week program begins on Tues, July 1st, 2014. Meets weekly on Tues nights 6:30 pm and Saturday mornings 7:30 am at Fleet Feet Sports

**this program requires that you have recently completed or No Boundaries 5K program, or can run/walk or run three miles at a 15 min/mile pace**


Half-Marathon Run/Walk and Run Program

This program is for those looking to tackle the challenge of their first half marathon, or anyone looking to improve their finish time from a previously completed half marathon race. We offer you guidance from experienced coaches, weekly group training runs/run walks, and educational information on topics such as proper nutrition, choosing the right gear, and avoiding injury, all within a fun and supportive environment!

When: Twelve week program begins on Tuesday, July 1st, 2014. Meets weekly on Tues nights 6:30 pm and Saturday mornings 7:30 am at Fleet Feet Sports
